Beach at a glance
What it is like
Playa Soesto retains an isolated character and low occupancy along its 850 metres of white sand and 30-metre width. The mountainous frontage, vegetation and protection as a Site of Community Importance (SCI) shape the landscape, which is usually subject to strong waves and wind. The beach is associated with surfing championships, and access is via walkways to avoid damaging the dune environment, two specific features of its use and conservation. It can be reached by car from the C-433, with parking for more than 100 vehicles, litter bins, cleaning and a surfing area.
