Playa Santa Marina forms Ribadesella’s urban coastal frontage with a 1,150-metre golden sandy beach and an average width of 63 metres. Its urban character is also reflected in the seafront promenade and its relationship with the town, while the presence of vegetation and its inclusion in ZEPA and Site of Community Importance (SCI) areas add a protected natural setting. It is a very busy beach, with moderate waves and windy conditions, and a wide range of tourist and catering services. Access is easy on foot or by car via the N-632, with more than 100 parking spaces and adapted facilities.
