Playa Playamar is a very broad urban beach in Torremolinos, measuring 1,100 metres in length and 50 metres in width, with dark sand, a seafront promenade and shaded areas with palm-tree oases. Its surroundings include the Conjunto Playamar development, a renovated hotel area, shops, a cycle lane and a skating lane, within the architectural complex known as Arquitectura del Relax. Access is easy on foot, by car or by bus, and La Colina commuter railway station is nearby on foot. The beach has catering, toilets, showers, rentals and a children’s area.
