Playa Padrón occupies a long, extremely narrow strip at the head of the estuary: it reaches 340 metres in length but is only 1 metre wide. Its dark sand and calm waters form part of a semi-urban frontage, although the low tides are very pronounced and the beach is practically not used for bathing. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the PO-308, with an interurban bus stop 50 metres away. It has a cleaning service, litter bins and food services.
