What it is like
Playa Nemiña is the last beach within the municipality of Muxía, lying at the foot of the mountain of the same name and beside a fish farm. Its scale sets it apart: it reaches 1,250 metres in length and 100 metres in width, with white sand, vegetation and an isolated setting. Strong waves form part of its coastal character, while environmental protection is reflected in its inclusion in a Special Protection Area for Birds (ZEPA). It can be reached by car, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles, and has showers, a surfing area and food service.
