What it is like
Playa de Arnela takes its name from Punta de Arnela, the rocky feature that shelters much of this isolated beach. The white-sand beach extends for 370 metres beside a mountainous frontage and reaches 50 metres in width, with vegetation in surroundings included in the Site of Community Importance (SCI). Although the place is sheltered by the point, its usual conditions include strong waves. It is easily accessed on foot and has an interurban bus connection.
