Playa Muxeira, also known as Peirao de Arcade, lies beside the quay of Arcade harbour. The beach is 150 metres long and 50 metres wide, formed by golden sand and offering calm waters along a semi-urban frontage. The seafront promenade, vegetation and the protected natural setting of the Natura 2000 Network complete its coastal character, with a nearby anchorage area. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the CN-550, with between 50 and 100 parking spaces and an interurban bus service. Facilities include showers, cleaning, food services, a sports area and a children’s area.
