Playa Mareny de Barraquetes belongs to the municipality of Sueca, in the province of Valencia, and forms part of an urban stretch with a seafront promenade. The listing places it within a protected environment associated with Red Natura 2000. It is a beach 670 metres long and 35 metres wide, mainly composed of golden sand. It has an interurban bus service, unattended parking, showers and a telephone. It also has visible danger signs, lifesaving equipment and easy access on foot and by car, as well as access for disabled people.
