What it is like
Playa de Les Palmeretes is an urban beach of golden sand reaching 1,500 metres in length, although its width is only 15 metres. Located in Parque Natural de la Albufera and a protected Red Natura 2000 environment, it has a promenade and vegetation. The listing states that the beach is receding because of the large loss of sand it is suffering, while its usual conditions include moderate waves. It is easy to reach on foot or by car via the CV-500, with fewer than 50 parking spaces, an interurban bus service, toilets, showers and a sports area.
