What it is like

Characteristics published by official sources

Playa Loredo combines a very substantial expanse with an isolated dune setting within the Dunas del Puntal y el Estuario del Miera ZEC. Its 1,400 metres of length and 80 metres of width consist of golden sand and vegetation, with strong waves and wind. The beach also hosts the traditional horse race known as Derby de Loredo. Access is by car via the CA-440, with more than 100 parking spaces, showers and a surf area.
