Playa La Paloma, also known as La Galera, is an urban beach of 800 metres formed by dark gravel and sheltered beside a rocky headland where Torre de la Sal stands. It reaches 60 metres in width, and its calm waters contrast with the urban character of the waterfront, accompanied by a promenade and vegetation. The beach is also part of a protected area of ornithological interest. Access is easy on foot or by car, with more than 100 parking spaces and an interurban bus. Toilets, showers, restaurants and hire of beach and nautical equipment are available.
