What it is like
Playa La Grimona, adjoining Playa del Socorro, is a shore of rounded stones, gravel and dark sand that at some times of year contains a large amount of black sand. It extends 300 metres in length and is 10 metres wide along a semi-urban frontage with vegetation, within natural habitats of Community interest. Access on foot is difficult and possible only at low tide; the TF-324 road and parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles serve as references. The listing also notes a bus connection and strong waves.
