What it is like
Playa del Canadell, also called Els Canyissos, belongs to the urban centre of Calella de Palafrugell and is one of the beaches frequented by local residents. Its golden sand extends for 210 metres and is 27 metres wide, with an urban coastline, a seafront promenade formed by a coastal path, an anchorage area and moderate waves. Access is easy on foot or by car via the C-31, with a bus connection. In practical terms, it has adapted toilets, showers, food and drink services, nautical-equipment hire and cleaning services.
