Playa de D'en Calau is integrated into the centre of Calella de Palafrugell, where its golden sand and seafront promenade create an atmosphere frequented by local people. The beach is 77 metres long and 16 metres wide, with an urban frontage, moderate swell and protection as a Historic Ensemble. It is easily reached on foot or by car from the C-31. Practical facilities include foot showers, cleaning services, water-sports hire, a sailing club and the possibility of anchoring.
