Beach at a glance
What it is like
Playa de Tusales, also called Platja dels Tossals, is an unspoilt, isolated sandy beach 1,500 metres long, with golden sand, beside the mouth of the Segura. Its dune frontage, vegetation and inclusion in a protected natural area and Site of Community Importance (SCI) define an open landscape with low occupancy and moderate surf. The record permits naturism and indicates a water-sports area. Access combines driving with a difficult walk along a dirt track; there are fewer than 50 parking spaces and a footbridge on only part of the beach.
