What it is like
Playa de Babilonia’s main feature is one of the most important dune systems in the Mediterranean, in a specially protected natural stretch. The golden sand extends for 1,074 metres, with a width of 20 metres, vegetation and moderate waves; despite its surroundings, visitor numbers are high. Access is easy on foot or by car, with between 50 and 100 parking spaces and an interurban connection. Specific services include foot-washing facilities, food services, hire of sun loungers and parasols, and cleaning.
