Beach at a glance
What it is like
Playa de La Mar Menuda, also called La Palma, is an urban beach of coarse-textured golden sand, 180 metres long and 20 metres wide. At one end is the Banyera de Ses Dones, a sandy area protected by rocks and frequented by families, a feature that gives its layout a distinctive character. The frontage is listed as semi-urban, with a seafront promenade, anchorage area and moderate waves. Access is easy on foot, by car or by boat, with more than 100 parking spaces, an amphibious chair, adapted toilets and nautical hire services.
