Playa de L'Alguer forms part of the urban area of L'Ametlla de Mar as a golden-sand beach 155 metres long and 15 metres wide. Its narrow urban strip is accompanied by a seafront promenade, vegetation and an anchorage area, with calm waters and high visitor numbers. It is easily reached on foot, by car or by boat from the N-340 and the A-7, junction 39. Parking provides between 50 and 100 spaces, and the beach has toilets, showers, a cleaning service and nautical hire.
