Playa Coroso is the large sandy beach near the urban centre of Ribeira: its 700 metres of fine sand form an urban frontage with a seafront promenade, vegetation and sheltered waters. High occupancy is due to its extent, proximity to the town and extensive facilities, in a semi-urban setting. Access is easy on foot or by car, with parking for more than 100 spaces and an interurban bus service. Toilets, showers, food services, nautical hire, a yacht club and anchorage meet the main needs.
