Playa Bañugues occupies a cove of golden sand where interesting Palaeolithic sites are located, within the Paisaje Protegido del Cabo Peñas. Its beach measures 131 metres long by 90 metres wide and offers calm waters, an anchorage area and surroundings with vegetation. The campsite is less than 100 metres away. Access is easy on foot or by car via the AS-239, with more than 100 parking spaces, toilets, showers and a food and drink service.
