Playa Baños del Carmen is a narrow strip bordering a former spa protected under urban-planning rules, with beach sections to the east and west of the building. Its 450-metre length barely reaches 10 metres in width and combines sand, pebbles and dark gravel, with a rocky seabed and moderate waves. The setting is urban and semi-urban, with vegetation and anchorage. It is easily accessed on foot or by car via the Pablo Ruiz Picasso promenade; facilities include toilets, showers, foot-washing points, food and a sports area.
