Beach at a glance
What it is like
Playa Aguilar is an extensive beach of golden sand, set into a mountainous coastline and protected as a ZEPA and Site of Community Importance (SCI). Its 360 metres of length and 77 metres of width form part of semi-urban surroundings with a promenade and vegetation, exposed to strong swell and with high visitor numbers. The beach is also the starting point of the Ruta de los Miradores. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the N-632, with more than 100 parking spaces and a catering service.
