What it is like
In the centre of Foz, Playa A Rapadoira is an urban white-sand beach whose shape is defined by its 270 metres of length and up to 340 metres of width. The coastal frontage is urban, with a seafront promenade, vegetation and ZEPA protection, and the usual conditions include moderate waves. Its family character is linked to extensive facilities and adapted infrastructure, including an amphibious chair and assisted bathing. Access is easy on foot, and there are more than 100 parking spaces, as well as toilets, showers and nautical services.
