Playa A Armona forms on the right bank of the river Miño, where a wild beach of white sand and dunes extends for 550 metres and is 86 metres wide. The isolated surroundings, with vegetation and protection as a Natural Area and Natura 2000 Network site, accompany calm waters and medium occupancy. Access is easy on foot or by car, with an adapted entrance, parking for more than 100 vehicles and an interurban bus service. There are toilets, showers, litter bins and cleaning services; the ferry to Portugal departs from Pasaxe port, 0.5 kilometres away.
