What it is like
W Codesal is a white-sand beach on the right bank of the Miño river. Its 300 metres in length and 50 metres in width form an isolated stretch with a semi-urban frontage, vegetation and protection as a Natura 2000 natural area. Medium occupancy and calm waters accompany a tranquil riverside landscape. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the PO-352, with parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and an interurban bus service one kilometre away. Facilities include litter bins, cleaning, food service and a sports area.
