What it is like
Playa de Perla de Levante, also known as Estrella de Mar, runs for 800 metres along the urban frontage of the Mar Menor. Dark sand, a seafront promenade lined with palm trees and calm waters make up a beach with medium occupancy and a gentle slope. The GR 92 crosses the lagoon surroundings, protected by six forms of protection. Practical features include access for people with reduced mobility, parking for more than 100 vehicles, urban buses, toilets, foot showers and water-sports hire.
