What it is like
Playa de las Arenas is characterised by a microclimate that protects it from north-westerly winds and by a composition that changes throughout the year: the source describes it as a sandy beach between June and November and as a beach of rounded stones in winter. The beach is 150 metres long and 50 metres wide, isolated, exposed to strong waves and beside a protected semi-urban coast. The promenade and vegetation accompany the surroundings. Access on foot or by car via the TF-445 is easy, with more than 100 parking spaces and adapted access. There are litter bins, food establishments and a sports area.
