What it is like
Playa de Furnia is an isolated beach among crags, formed of shingle and rock in a partly semi-urban Gáldar setting. Its 70 metres of length and 40 metres of width accommodate crystal-clear waters, although the usual waves are strong. Access follows the GC-140 and the turn-off towards Dos Roques and La Furnia; the entry also records the GC-202 and interurban bus services on the Gáldar 103–105 routes. Access and danger signs complete the practical information.
