What it is like

Playa El Agujero is a beach in Gáldar only 150 metres long, with a varied composition of sand, pebbles and rock, and dark sand. Its semi-urban setting and strong waves coexist with a natural pool that permits bathing without risk, one of the place's most recognisable features. Official observations also associate its waves with windsurfing by experienced people. It is easily accessed on foot or by car from the GC-202, with an interurban bus service. The beach offers food and drink establishments, cleaning, parking and a surf area.
