Playa de Caleta de Abajo forms in a short inlet along a winding stretch of coast, with a shingle-and-rock shore 130 metres long and 25 metres wide. Although listed as isolated, observation places it near a built-up area and highlights easy access by car and nearby parking. The usual waves are strong and conditions windy; the entry also records intermediate-level diving. The GC-202 and interurban bus services on the Gáldar 103–105 routes complete the practical references.
