What it is like
Es Macar Petit is a small isolated cove accessible only on foot via the GR-223 from Cala Tirant. Its shore is 100 metres long and 20 metres wide, with dark sand, a wetland frontage, vegetation and low occupancy. The surroundings are protected as an Área Natural de Especial Interés and have moderate waves. Car access ends at Playa de Tirant; from there, the pedestrian route of the Camí de Cavalls continues. Port de Fornells is listed as a nearby nautical reference.
