What it is like
Playa del Negro is a long, straight beach of dark sand, with gentle hills perpendicular to the sea. It extends for 1,398 metres and is 50 metres wide from Cala de la Sardina to the Alcorrín stream, on a semi-urban frontage also linked to a wetland. The vegetation, ecological reserve and anchorage area add a natural element to this shore of medium occupancy. Pedestrian access is via a track from the road, with parking for between 50 and 100 vehicles. There are food and drink facilities and sun-lounger and parasol hire.
