What it is like
El Acequión occupies a stretch of golden sand within Torrevieja harbour, beside the sports marina. Its 900 metres in length and 25 metres in width form a highly occupied urban beach with calm waters, also linked to the proximity of the Salinas de Torrevieja, located one kilometre away according to the entry. Access is easy on foot or by car from the N-332, with fewer than 50 spaces and an urban bus service. There are foot showers, cleaning, catering, a nautical club and first aid.
