Playa de Chamadoiro, also known as Pena Furada, stands out for its large dune system and extensive sandy area formed when the tide goes out, according to the listing description. The white-sand beach reaches 500 metres in length and around 30 metres in width, is separated from Arealonga by Punta Furada and lies within a Site of Community Importance (SCI) with vegetation. Access on foot is easy from the LU-862 road, with signposting, parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and an interurban bus connection 3 km away. Its usual waters are calm.
