Playa de Vicedo Vello, also called Caolín, is an isolated white-sand beach surrounded by vegetation, its name recalling an old washing site for this material. Its semi-urban frontage extends for 130 metres and offers a width varying between 25 and 45 metres, with calm waters and a seafront promenade. Access on foot is easy and signposted; the LU-862 road passes nearby and the interurban route between Vivero and Ferrol has a stop 1 kilometre away. Practical facilities include showers, foot-washing facilities, litter bins and cleaning service.
