What it is like
Cala Murtra remains isolated from urban centres within the Cap de Creus Natural Park. Its 130 metres of length and 15 metres of width combine stones, rounded stones and coarse golden sand, in a mountainous landscape with vegetation and moderate swell, sometimes windy. Arrival by land is complicated, and the indicated access combines a difficult section on foot with the possibility of arriving by boat. There are fewer than 50 parking spaces on the approach and an anchorage area.
