Playa de As Margaritas comprises three isolated coves of sand and rock, subject to strong changes caused by the tide. At high tide, the beach surface is practically non-existent, a particularity that defines the use and perception of the group; the listing records 120 metres in length and 25 metres in width. Access on foot is difficult from Rúa do Mar, with an interurban bus 2 kilometres away, and use is low. A cleaning service and nautical connection with Puerto de Mera are identified.
