What it is like
Playa de Arribolas is an isolated beach of pebbles and rock belonging to Urdaibai and situated in a mountainous landscape with vegetation. The shore measures 260 metres in length and 25 metres in width, has low occupancy and receives strong surf. The information adds a distinctive detail about its origin: it is an artificial cove formed by fill material for a submarine gas pipeline from the Gaviota platform. Access is by car from the BI-3101, and the place is frequented by anglers.
