What it is like

Playa de Laidatxu looks out over the left bank of the estuary and forms part of the Urdaibai Biosphere Reserve. It is a small urban beach of fine golden sand, 55 metres long and 100 metres wide, with a seafront promenade, vegetation and calm waters. Occupancy is high. It is easily reached on foot or by car via the BI-2235, with more than 100 parking spaces and an interurban bus service; it also has ramps, toilets, showers and nautical equipment hire.
