Playa de Alkolea, also known as Ensenada de Arbe, is an isolated pebble beach situated between Punta de Alkolea and the Arbe esplanade. Measuring 700 metres long and 50 metres wide, it occupies a broad strip in front of the mountain, surrounded by vegetation and usually exposed to strong surf and wind. The information indicates areas for surfing and diving. Access is on foot; there is parking for fewer than 50 vehicles and an interurban bus connection 1.4 kilometres away.
