Playa de San Miguel, also called Praia Arealonga, is an extensive white-sand beach reaching 1,200 metres in length and 140 metres in width. Its semi-urban character is expressed in an equally semi-urban frontage, with a promenade and vegetation, within a Site of Community Importance (SCI). Medium occupancy and moderate swell suit a broad, accessible beach, easily reached on foot from the LU-0610. Parking exceeds 100 spaces and facilities include toilets, showers, foot showers, bins, cleaning and a food service.
