What it is like
Playa de San Juan, also known as Bajamar, is an urban beach of dark sand and gravel, 200 metres long and 25 metres wide. The seafront promenade is one of its main features and accompanies a setting of medium occupancy, moderately rough water and protection as a Biosphere Reserve. Its connection with the urban centre is reflected in a broad range of services: toilets, showers, cleaning, restaurants and a marina club. It is easily reached on foot or by car, with parking and interurban buses.
