What it is like
Playa de Arenisco is a small urban beach in La Laguna, formed by gravel and accompanied by a seafront promenade. Its 80-metre length and 10-metre width form part of an urban waterfront with moderate visitor numbers, within an area protected as a Biosphere Reserve. Moderate waves define its usual conditions and the surfing area is among the registered services. Its practical character is closely linked to the city: it is easy to reach on foot or by car, and there are toilets, litter bins, cleaning and food establishments nearby.
