What it is like
Playa de Sa Tamardia is a restored beach that was formerly used as a boat launching and storage area, a relationship with maritime activity that explains part of its identity. Its extensive strip, 1,681 metres long and 15 metres wide, is formed by coarse golden sand and lies on a semi-natural semi-urban frontage, with vegetation and anchorage. The usual waves are moderate. It is easily reached on foot from the C-31, with parking for more than 100 spaces and nautical hire.
