Beach at a glance
What it is like
Playa de Castell combines a large golden beach of very coarse texture with a setting free of buildings, integrated into the area of natural interest at the mouth of the Aubi channel. Its 990-metre length and 90-metre width form a semi-urban beach with vegetation, an anchorage area and moderate waves, sometimes windy. Access is easy on foot or by car via the C-31, with more than 100 parking spaces. Practical facilities include a walkway for people with reduced mobility, toilets, food and drink services, and sun lounger and nautical-equipment hire.
