What it is like
Playa de Rodas is the large sandy beach linking Isla Norte or Do Monte Agudo with Isla do Medio or Do Faro, in the Cíes archipelago. Within the Parque Nacional, its 1,300 metres of fine sand form a strip up to 180 metres wide between dunes and mountains, with protected vegetation and an anchorage area. Access is exclusively by boat and the beach is adapted for people with reduced mobility. Practical facilities include food service, cleaning, diving and first aid.
