Playa de Ribeira do Carro

Playa de Ribeira do Carro forms an almost one-kilometre beach made up of three beaches, enclosed beneath a cliff frontage. The group combines white and dark sand with rock and has low occupancy, while the waves are strong. Access is difficult by path: the first beach, Ribeira do Carro itself, can be reached by descending via an access route when the tide is low, and at high tide little sand remains. A small viewpoint allows the area to be seen in its full extent.
