Playa de Realejo forms part of the 2 kilometres of coast collectively known as Playa de Los Monteros. Its stretch is 700 metres long and 40 metres wide, with golden sand, a semi-urban frontage, seafront promenade and vegetation, within an ecological reserve. Visitor numbers are moderate and the swell is moderate. Access is by car via the CN-340, with fewer than 50 parking spaces; the interurban bus service is 0.5 kilometres away. Practical facilities include toilets, showers, cleaning services, food facilities, hire of sun loungers and parasols, and a surfing area.
