What it is like
Playa de Protegida sector II, also known as La Ricarda or La Ricarda-Ca La'Arana, is a very broad, isolated beach measuring 1,000 metres in length and 143 metres in width. Its golden and dark sand occupies a semi-urban frontage with vegetation, within a Natural Park and beside an anchorage area. Usual occupancy is low and conditions range from calm waters to strong swell. It is reached on foot or by car, with parking for more than 100 vehicles and an urban bus service.
