What it is like
Protegida sector I, also called Platja de la Roberta, is a broad and isolated beach 2,700 metres long and 190 metres wide. Its golden and dark sand extends along a semi-urban frontage with vegetation, within a Natural Park. Usual occupancy is low, although the listing records both calm waters and episodes of strong waves. Access is easy on foot or by car, with signage and an urban bus service from the PL line. As practical facilities, it has litter bins, cleaning and an anchorage area.
